Hateful Things

I was shocked at alot of things i saw today at the jim crow exhibit. I cant beilive people could have so much hate inside them. One thing that especially caught my eye was the Ghettopoly game. I remember when it came out a few years back, i was really young i thought nothing of it to tell you the truth i found it kind of humorous. Now that im more mature i look at it from a whole different perspective. I think it is very racist i can’t belive somebody actually sold these things. But i dont think the intentions of the creator were for it to be racist, i think they were just trying poke fun at a stereotype. The media today makes it seem like the entire African-American race is just a bunch of Gangsters and broke drug addicts but thats not true. I can relate to this in a way because of september 11 i have encoutered a lot of racism. People assume that Most arabs are terroisst are have some affiliation to a terroist or terrioist organization. But that it is absoulte bullshit!  I don’t think racism will ever stop we just need to learn to be the bigger person.
